Having trouble writing this one tonight as Karissa thoroughly exhausted me at my session today. I am starting to think that she enjoys my pain. It was all I could do to complete my stretching and shower after the workout. I feel good now though - 4.5 hours later.
Here is today's workout in its most compressed form. We started with a shoulder warm-up called T Push-Ups (or something like that) then moved to standing hamstring raises and shoulder presses. We then moved onto step-lunges with weight added (which my knee hated, but I pressed through it) mixed with front lateral raises. After that were burpees and rear delt flys. Then it was onto the really hard work - a superset of sit-ups with an exercise ball between my feet, then side crunches, then plank, then supermans. All in a row for 3 sets.
Now I know this all sounds easy for those of you who are in shape, but for me, that was extremely difficult. I am going to pay for this one tomorrow, but it is all to reach my goal.
So, she has already warned me that Thursday is going to be even worse so that give me 2 days to prepare. Looking forward to it.
